Location: Head Office, Glasgow - Hybrid (2-3 days per week in office)

Contract: Full Time / Permanent - 35 Hours per week

Role Reports to: Commercial Finance Business Partner

What the opportunity looks like:

  • Training Contract to Gain CIMA or ACCA Qualifications.
  • Provide timely and accurate business support to key stakeholders in Sales, Marketing and Operations.
  • Involved in financial analysis, monthly reporting, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and general financial and systems support.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for on-going Commercial Finance, in conjunction with the wider Finance team(s).
  • Ensure integrity of the relevant P&L reporting.
  • Assist with full month-end close procedures.
  • Support the planning processes for annual budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts, and strategic 5-year plan.
  • Ensure all known pricing and cost changes are incorporated into each forecasting cycle.
  • Work with Pricing team to ensure Tropos (our in-house ERP system) always contains up-to-date pricing and promotional information.
  • Facilitate the process of ensuring invoices for promotional or strategic activity are handled effectively, ensuring appropriate approval is received in a timely manner, coding is accurate, and that appropriate action is taken regarding any accrual adjustments.

Qualifications:

  • Entry level Finance role, ideal for someone looking to start and develop their Finance career in the drinks industry.
  • Previous experience working in a Finance team would be advantageous but is not essential as full training, support and coaching will be provided.
  • Proficient in Excel to an intermediate level with a strong capability in pivot tables, lookups, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to own, coordinate and prioritise workload to deliver multiple deadlines.
  • High attention to detail.
