About the Role
Position: Housekeeper – The Dalmore Experience.
Location: The Dalmore Distillery, Alness, IV17 0UT.
Contract: Full Time / Permanent, Monday to Friday 08:30–16:30 (37.5 hours per week). Flexible approach required; evening and weekend work may be needed.
The Housekeeper will ensure that all front and back of house areas of the Dalmore Experience are kept to impeccable standards of cleanliness. This includes pre‑ and post‑visit cleaning of public areas, on‑spot cleaning during tour times, and maintaining washrooms and prep areas. The role also supports the Host team with glassware set‑up, simple food and drink preparation, light furniture movement and polishing of crockery and cutlery.
Responsibilities
- Ensure front and back of house areas are immaculately clean, befitting a luxury setting.
- Adhere to the Dalmore Experience housekeeping standard operating procedures.
- Order cleaning equipment and supplies to maintain availability.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures.
- Assist with host duties such as setting out glassware, preparing simple food and drink, moving light furniture, and polishing crockery.
- Support gifting or packaging tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Experience of cleaning in a luxury environment.
- Experience of cleaning in industrial areas.
- Experience of product ordering and inventory control.
- Knowledge of 5‑star service standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
