I represent an early-stage AI operations platform that automates end-to-end workflows for retail and CPG enterprises. This is a consultant-in-residence role. You will build a new function from scratch: owning the customer's business transformation, delivering measurable P&L impact, and expanding from pilot to enterprise-wide adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Own the customer's transformation end-to-end, from initial pilot through enterprise-wide deployment. You are accountable for business outcomes, not feature adoption.
  • Build investment-grade business cases for every engagement. Baseline current operations, model the ROI, and present recommendations to C-level stakeholders.
  • Lead discovery across customer functions: category management, supply chain, finance operations. Identify where automation drives measurable margin or cost impact.
  • Present to and influence executive boards. You operate as a trusted advisor.
  • Scale from pilot to multi-million dollar programs. Identify the next highest-impact workflows, build the investment case for each, and drive adoption across the organization.
  • Shape the transformation function as it grows. Define how engagements are structured, how success is measured, and how insights compound.
  • Travel to Prague for customer on-sites, internal alignment, and the final interview stages.

Real requirements (must-haves, no nice-to-haves)

  • Strategic transformation leadership. You have led significant operational or digital change programs that delivered measurable business outcomes.
  • Retail or CPG domain experience. Your background includes hands-on project work within retail, FMCG, or CPG environments.
  • C-level communication and influence. You have presented to and been challenged by executive leadership.
  • Ownership of business outcomes, not just delivery. Your track record is measured in margin improvement, cost reduction, or revenue impact.
  • Building from ambiguity. You have operated in environments where the role, process, or organization didn't exist yet.

Preferred but not required

  • Experience in management or strategy consulting (advisory, not industry-only background).
  • Familiarity with automation, AI, or operations platforms.
  • Experience expanding a pilot engagement into an enterprise-wide program.
  • EU AI Act compliance.
