Responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating SEND provision across EYFS and KS1, ensuring a consistent and high-quality approach throughout the school.
- Supporting and coaching teachers and support staff to deliver inclusive, adaptive teaching and effective interventions.
- Monitoring, evaluating and reviewing the impact of SEND interventions, using data and evidence to inform next steps.
- Working in partnership with families, valuing their insights and ensuring their voices are central to decision-making.
- Liaising with external agencies, including educational psychologists, therapists and local authority services, to secure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice, maintaining accurate records and contributing to statutory processes such as EHCPs.
- Modelling excellent classroom practice and supporting the professional development of colleagues through training and guidance.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school, promoting a culture of inclusion, empathy and high expectations for all.
