WHSmith is looking for a Go-To-Market Executive to support the planning and delivery of product launches, in‑store campaigns, and promotional activity across our growing Consumer Electronics (CE) category. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career with experience in brand, trade marketing, or retail operations who wants to develop their skills in retail activation and go‑to‑market planning.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Product Launch Support: Support GTM planning for new product launches across key CE brands. Coordinate essential launch tasks with Buying, Marketing, Supply Chain, Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising, and suppliers. Assist in preparing GTM documents, timelines, and communication materials.
  • Campaign & Promotion Delivery: Help develop and roll out in‑store campaigns, promotions, and seasonal activity. Maintain and update the CE promotional calendar, ensuring all key deadlines are met. Support the creation and distribution of campaign assets and store guidance.
  • Retail Readiness: Assist in managing the GTM critical path, including POS production, launch communications, and merchandising requirements. Work closely with Visual Merchandising to ensure store layouts and displays meet campaign and brand objectives.
  • Training: Support Retail Operations with the creation of product training materials. Coordinate delivery of training with suppliers and internal teams (digital and face‑to‑face). Gather and share feedback to help improve future training.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a day‑to‑day contact for internal teams and CE brand partners. Help organise planning meetings, prepare agendas, track actions, and circulate updates.
  • Performance Reporting: Gather data and insights on campaign and launch performance. Prepare summary reports and contribute to Post‑Implementation Reviews. Highlight key learnings to support continuous improvement.
  • Store Development Support: Support store development projects including trials, new fixtures, space changes, and display updates. Assist the Business Development team with data and planning for lease renewals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in marketing, trade marketing, retail operations, or a similar coordination/admin role (CE or premium retail experience is a bonus).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A clear, confident communicator able to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
  • Great attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Comfortable working with data and producing basic reports (Excel/Sheets).
  • Enthusiasm for consumer electronics, retail environments, and campaign execution.
