RHC Lifting - Now Part of WH Scott Group is expanding and we are looking for a Workshop Assistant! RHC Lifting Limited, a market leader in the lifting equipment industry, is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to clients across the South East. We are seeking a Workshop Assistant to join our team in a warehouse environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift and for carrying out daily duties as assigned by the General Manager and the Workshop Supervisor. They will ensure that the workshop is kept safe, clean and tidy and that the Goods In / Goods Out process is carried out effectively. They will report any issues or defects to the Workshop Supervisor.
- Loading and unloading lorries and booking in deliveries.
- Assisting with general workshop duties including painting and assembly work.
- Ensuring that all tools and equipment are checked in and out and that they are stored correctly.
- Assisting with ensuring high standards of housekeeping in the workshop/yard at all times.
- Completing stock audits as necessary, feeding back stock counts to the Workshop Supervisor and General Manager and resolving any stock queries identified.
- Overseeing and administering the Goods In / Goods Out Process.
- Operating in accordance with Company values at all times.
- Any other reasonable duties as determined by the Directors.
