Manufacturing Engineer – Automation & Robotics
Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our automation team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting and improving a range of automated production cells and robotic systems.
Key Areas of Responsibility, Duties and Deliverables Expected
Responsibilities
- Programming and optimisation of industrial robots including ABB, Fanuc and KUKA systems.
- Robot head manufacturing, assembly and integration.
- PLC programming, diagnostics and system improvements.
- Carrying out modifications and upgrades to existing production and automation cells.
- Day-to-day fault finding and troubleshooting across automated manufacturing equipment.
- Supporting continuous improvement activities to increase efficiency, reliability and productivity.
- Working closely with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime and improve performance.
- Assisting with commissioning and installation of new automation equipment where required.
- General Responsibilities & Duties

- Assist other areas of the business when required to carry out the same or similar tasks.
