- Shift Supervisor
- Key Areas of Responsibility, Duties and Deliverables Expected
Responsibilities
- To manage Health and Safety within the boundaries set, suggesting and implementing agreed improvements.
- To achieve the agreed targets set for production output and part quality.
- To be the coach and mentor of the shift team, responsible for morale, motivation and engagement. Able to communicate issues and opportunities effectively to the management team.
- To manage production and processing tool changes, to ensure that these are achieved safely and effectively within the assigned time.
- Responsible for 5S and housekeeping in the department, implementing improvements as required.
- To work effectively with Departmental Management.
- To have a good understanding of the process and its key inputs / outputs and setting parameters.
- To support the team as required for fault rectification activities and any customer quality issues (e. g. 8D).
- To complete documentation in accordance with process.
