ERP Engineer’
Key Areas of Responsibility, Duties and Deliverables Expected
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support and administration for the SYSPRO ERP environment across all business areas.
- Act as a key technical and functional support resource for SYSPRO users, resolving incidents, troubleshooting issues, and managing service requests.
- Support the ongoing stabilisation, optimisation, and continuous improvement of the ERP platform following implementation and handover.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational processes and identify opportunities to improve system usage, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
- Support ERP integrations with internal systems, third-party applications, and business platforms.
- Assist with configuration, testing, deployment, and change management activities within the ERP environment.
- Develop and maintain ERP-related documentation including system procedures, support guides, configuration records, and process maps.
- Support data integrity, system governance, user access management, and security controls within the ERP platform.
- Assist with report development, dashboards, SQL queries, and data extraction where required.
- Work alongside infrastructure, network, and support teams to ensure platform availability, performance, and resilience.
- Liaise with third-party suppliers, consultants, and support providers to coordinate issue resolution and platform enhancements.
- Support ERP-related projects including upgrades, module deployments, process automation, and future business transformation initiatives.
- Participate in user training and knowledge-sharing activities to improve adoption and operational effectiveness.
