This role is key in ensuring that the finished product leaves site in accordance to customer requirements. Previous experience of visual inspection of components or products, preferably within a similar environment, is preferred. This is a fast-moving business and the candidate must be highly motivated, able to learn new concepts quickly and accurately, have an eye for detail and excellent organisational skills. This is a twenty-four hours operation and you must have a flexible approach to working.
Role Details
- Shifts: 3 shifts rotating, Sunday night start
- Salary: £13.43 per hour
Duties Include
- Visual inspection of painted plastic components
- Technical analysis of colour
- Testing to JLR specification
- Accurate completion of supporting paperwork and sub-assembly operations
- Effectively communicate with and update other staff members
- Responsible for packing and accurate labelling of products
- Contribute to improvement activities
Person Specification / Required Skills
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and feel comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels within the business. Candidates must have a proactive and hands-on technical approach to tasks alongside high levels of problem-solving skills.
