Wholegood's mission is to provide truly sustainable food that supports people, places and the planet we all live on. We aim to leave everything better than we found it. We're a team of 100 people working with purpose, and we're now looking for two Operations Supervisors to join our team.
The Role
As an Operations Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our services and fresh produce departments. Working closely with the Operations Lead, you'll be responsible for:
- Planning and allocating labour across teams to meet operational, financial, and technical targets.
- Leading daily operations across goods-in, replenishment, picking, packing, loading, and dispatch.
- Managing stock levels and transport resources (including 3PL suppliers) to guarantee accurate, on-time fulfilment.
- Collaborating with customer service and supply chain teams to ensure all orders meet dispatch deadlines.
- Supporting compliance with HR, health & safety, and transport requirements.
- Driving continuous improvement, efficiency, and team development.
What We're Looking For
1–3 years' leadership experience in an operational or warehouse environment.
Strong understanding of warehouse, production, and transport processes.
A confident communicator with the ability to motivate and empower teams.
Highly organised, detail-focused, and calm under pressure.
Flexible, resilient, and able to adapt during peak periods.
Experience in food technical audits (e.g., BRC) and/or food retail (advantageous but not essential).
