Compensation
Base pay range: $13.85/hr β $16.90/hr
This range is provided by Whole Foods Market. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience β talk with your recruiter to learn more. The wage range for this position is Β£13.85-Β£16.90 Hourly, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers \\\βWhole Benefits\\\β. Responsibilities
- Will be cross-trained and work in all areas throughout the store, including cashiering/Self Check Out, online order fulfilment, food and drink production, product facing and shelf stocking.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address the needs of customers in a timely and effective manner.
- Support the auditing of store tags, signs, and scale prices to confirm tag / signage / price accuracy.
- Rotate products and remove out-of-date products.
- Be aware of new products and their placement.
- Support the highest retail standards are being met.
- Follow all Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in fiscal period and quarter end inventories.
- Communicate all pertinent information to leadership.
- Stay informed on all company and store level information from leadership.
- Complete all required training on time.
- Maintain a positive work environment.
- Use courteous and proper phone etiquette when answering the phones and pages.
- Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
- Support overall store cleanliness and maintenance. Follow established food safety, organic guidelines, and procedures.
- Attend all meetings as assigned by Leadership, including daily huddles.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Basic computer skills.
- Proactive problem-solver with excellent follow-through, listening skills, and ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Clear and effective communication style, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with individuals in positions throughout various levels of the business.
- Demonstrates responsibility and accountability in recognizing and accomplishing all tasks where there is a direct job responsibility.
- Proven experience meeting all customer service expectations and standards when interacting with customers, vendors, and fellow Team Members.
- Proper use of equipment used during preparation and clean up within department and store, including knives, personal protective equipment, forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks, six-wheel carts, baler (must be 18 years of age or older).
- Able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable adjustments.

- Prior Retail, Restaurant Or Hospitality Experience Is Preferred.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift fifty pounds.
- In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
- Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
- Work requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
- Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
