Responsibilities
- Provides advice and support for a range of processes, programs, and/or initiatives for assigned stores and region(s), including merchandising, marketing, quality assurance, training, and communications.
- Builds strong and supportive relationships with store and regional leadership.
- Ensures store and regional leadership understand and receive the support they need to achieve process/program/initiative timeframes, priorities, and objectives.
- Works with store and regional leadership to ensure effective alignment and coordination of various activities, such as product delivery, distribution, rotation, etc.
- Supports existing stores, programs, and operations; provides guidance and advice on new store development, including design, hiring, training, product placement, ordering, merchandising, and team support.
- Identifies operational best practices and ensures effective documentation, communication, and application.
- Ensures provision/execution of daily store-based training, including for Team Members, buyers, and Team Leaders.
- Engages closely with store leadership to drive effective execution and implementation of regional programs and merchandising objectives.
- Monitors operations and provides daily feedback to store leaders/teams regarding plan execution, including sales, margins, labor, merchandising, training, sanitation, marketing, and promotions.
- Conducts announced and unannounced store/operational visits.
- Monitors and reports on sales and profitability measures including year-over-year increases.
- As required, conducts competitive pricing and retail site surveys, communicating findings to leadership.
- Engages with store and regional leadership to understand and communicate wins and opportunities.
Skills
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of specialty area(s), such as coffee, tea, produce, bakery, etc.
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of technical skills associated with assigned specialty area(s).
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of merchandising concepts and practices.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email management, and other office systems.
- Communicates structured information in a clear, concise, and organized fashion.
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions in both one-on-one situations and group meetings.

Education & Experience
- BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
The wage range for this position is £47,840.00-£81,328.00 Annual, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers "Whole Benefits".
