What you will accomplish:
- Develop insights and a rich understanding of the market by analyzing client needs, competitor trends and use cases which you convert into innovative solutions.
- Prepare, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap which defines product enhancements for short and long term releases.
- Produce succinct and accurate specifications which engineering understands and can build in order to execute the vision and roadmap of our in-cloud and on-premise analytics products.
- Own the product backlog and work with Head of Engineering to remove roadblocks and establish development timeframes for features that can then be communicated to stakeholders.
- Act as a mentor for product owners and oversee their work with specs and UAT.
- Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to provide fully synchronized content, customer insights and feedback to produce consistent, award-winning marketing materials, effective sales training materials and engaging product demos that are used on stage, in videos and are the basis for client engagements.
- Help shape long and short term product strategy while providing quick and clear value-add to the business.
- Create and maintain profit and loss documentation to monitor the financial sustainability of products.
Who You Are:
- At least 5 years of product leadership and you can point to multiple successful software products, services or features that you’ve overseen from conception to maturity.
- Complete knowledge of SDLC with experience and strong understanding of web development platforms, databases and infrastructure.
- You’re client-focused and bring versatility with an ability to manage and execute against aggressive goals because you’re proactive with a high degree of organization, and personal accountability.
- You assimilate information quickly and have a reputation as a team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Expertise with JIRA or comparable tool for backlog grooming and planning.
- You are creative and innovative with a strong sense of design and usability stemming from a passion for new technology.
- Enthusiasm for working in a remote, fast-paced, fun and hard-working, high-growth culture.
- An understanding of enterprise Java development.
