We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team. Work includes Tipper, Animal Feed Blower, Low Loader, Poultry Haulage as well as other General haulage work. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to designated locations for our valued customers. You will also need to be a team player working as part of a small team.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive various types of trucks.
  • Transport goods over short and long distances.
  • Load, unload and safely secure the load.
  • Follow traffic laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate driving logs as well as correctly filling in load logs, tickets and other paperwork.
  • Keep the vehicle in a clean and presentable manner inside and out.

Skills:

  • Valid Class 1 driving license and up to date CPC.
  • 2 years experience.
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices and drivers hours.
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
