What you’ll be doing
- This is a hands‑on role where you'll be responsible for the infrastructure that keeps our operation running—from utilities and site services to building systems and critical equipment.
- Working Monday to Friday on static day shifts, you'll troubleshoot, maintain, improve and help shape the future of our facilities.
- Maintaining and improving site utilities including compressed air, steam, electrical, gas and water systems.
- Delivering planned preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns when needed.
- Supporting continuous improvement projects that reduce downtime and improve reliability.
- Working closely with colleagues and contractors to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Keeping accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance with site standards.
What we’re looking for
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- Strong electrical fault‑finding skills.
- Experience working with compressed air and steam generation systems.
- Knowledge of single and three‑phase electrical systems.
- A practical problem‑solver who enjoys getting to the root cause, not just fixing the symptom.
- Someone who takes ownership, communicates well and thrives in a team environment.
- Experience within food manufacturing or regulated environments would be an advantage, but attitude, capability and a willingness to learn are just as important.
