This is an opportunity to join a fast‑paced FMCG environment where no two days are the same. From preventative maintenance to fault finding and continuous improvement, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Responding to breakdowns and supporting fast, effective fault finding
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities on production equipment
- Supporting electrical and mechanical maintenance activities
- Helping reduce manufacturing downtime and improve equipment reliability
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and audit‑ready documentation
- Contributing to continuous improvement and operational performance initiatives
- Supporting safe working practices and engineering standards across site
What You’ll Bring
- Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
- Electrical and mechanical engineering experience
- Experience carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving capability
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, ideally within FMCG or food production
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Confidence using maintenance systems and recording work electronically
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
- Food manufacturing experience
- Multi‑skilled engineering capability
- A BTECH/ONC qualification as a minimum in either Electrical or Mechanical discipline
- Or a Multi‑skilled engineering qualification or C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro – technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance
- Time served apprentice or Multi‑skilled Engineer HNC level in electrical, mechanical or production maintenance engineering
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement

Shift Pattern
4‑Week Rotating Schedule
- Weeks 1–4: Monday – Wednesday, 7am – 7pm
- Weeks 5–8: Thursday – Saturday, 7am – 7pm
- Plus two flexible floating shifts every 4 weeks
- 24/6 cover model (3 days on / 4 days off rota, banked hours system).
