About The Role
As our new Payroll Officer, you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting our people by ensuring their pay is accurate, timely, and handled with genuine care.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the Group Payroll Manager to keep payroll running smoothly across the Group
- Processing overtime and monthly pay changes with accuracy
- Completing essential payroll checks before processing
- Assisting with annual pay reviews and helping colleagues with payroll queries
- Supporting monthly pension reporting and submissions
- Preparing data for P11Ds and payrolling benefits
- Ensuring payroll processes meet internal standards and legislation
- Keeping employee data accurate and up to date in our HR and payroll systems
- Conducting regular audits and data checks
- Supporting archiving and retention of payroll and HR documentation
- Processing staff expenses and Barclaycard claims
- Collating information for annual benefit renewals and managing joiners/leavers
- Maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Collaborating closely with colleagues in HR and Finance
