Location: Whitley Bridge
Salary: Competitive

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Working Pattern: This role involves working a rotating shift pattern, which includes: 05:00–13:30, 11:30–20:00, and 08:30–17:00
The role:
- You’ll be at the heart of our laboratory operations, helping to keep everything running smoothly and to the highest standards.
- Use a range of laboratory and business systems, using your strong IT skills to navigate multiple platforms with ease including creating BI reporting on request.
- Carry out quality control testing on incoming materials through both bench‑based and instrumental techniques, ensuring compliance with in‑house specifications and EC/UK regulations.
- Look after lab equipment to keep it well‑maintained and reliable including controlling equipment, internal and external calibration.
- Perform quality checks on outgoing products, recording samples and ensuring results meet expectations.
- Prepare and certify finished product samples for customers, providing reassurance and transparency.
- Build strong working relationships across the site, and communicate clearly with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
- Maintain accurate records and support the quality management system.
- Keep the lab clean, organised and safe through routine housekeeping.
- Arrange external sampling when required.
- Help develop others by training team members in established procedures.
- Maintain internal and external ring check samples.
- Support rota planning and holiday cover.
- Keep laboratory forms and documentation up to date.
