Transport Admin Clerk - 18month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: GBP27525 - GBP27525 per annum Join our transport team as a Transport Admin Clerk on an 18 month fixed term contract and help keep our operation moving. You'll provide essential administrative support, ensuring transport documentation, records and processes are completed accurately and on time, while working closely with drivers, customers and colleagues to deliver an efficient and professional service. The role: Process transport documentation, delivery paperwork and associated records accurately and within required timescales. Input driver payroll hours and maintain accurate attendance and payroll records. Liaise with other sites to obtain, manage and file Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation. Prepare and issue all transport paperwork required for next-day operations. Review, verify and sign off food safety, compliance and transport-related documentation. Conduct driver debriefs, ensuring all relevant information is captured and any issues are escalated appropriately. Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Transport Manager and wider transport team. Assist with transport planning activities and provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence. Maintain accurate records, databases and filing systems in line with company procedures. Communicate effectively with drivers, customers and internal departments to support efficient transport operations.
