Support the efficient, safe, and accurate handling, storage, and movement of raw materials and finished flour products. This includes loading and unloading goods, maintaining stock accuracy, operating warehouse machinery, and ensuring all products are prepared and dispatched to customers in line with quality, hygiene, and safety standards.

Location: Silloth

Salary: Competitive

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

The role:

  • Confident and competent use of the D365 WMS warehouse computer system.
  • Transport product from packing lines, check slip sheet positioning and pallet presentation, wrap, label, and store in designated locations using WMS.
  • Accurately pick customer orders following pick tickets, ensuring all Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met.
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy, ensuring part-picked pallets are always left presentable and free from cross-mixing of product lines.
  • Follow the F.I.F.O stock rotation system.
  • Load trailers safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to hygiene procedures and maintain a “Clean as You Go” approach.
  • Support the production of tote bag packing and assist the small pack departments as required.
  • Carry out HACCP checks accurately and promptly.
  • Support with stock counts where needed.
  • Always follow all company procedures.
  • Participate in training for personal development and to support business needs.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety, Food Safety, Food Quality and Customer Service requirements.

About you:

  • Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
  • Manual handling training
  • Hand Truck training
  • MEWP licence (desirable)
  • Experience in food manufacturing or production processes
  • Good organisational skills
  • Basic Food Hygiene training
  • Flexibility to support business needs
