Our Hygiene Operatives are extremely valued members of our team, and they have the overall responsibility for ensuring that all our production areas, machinery and the site itself meet our high standards of cleanliness.
Location: Kirkcaldy
Salary: Competitive
Benefits: Enhanced holiday entitlement, company sick pay, life insurance, health cash plans, family friendly policies, EV/ULEV car scheme and cycle to work scheme.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30 and 08:00 – 13:30 on Friday
Applicants must be willing to operate a forklift truck and either hold a valid forklift licence or be willing to undertake the required training.
The role:
- Ensuring that cleanliness is always maintained throughout the site.
- Dealing with issues as and when they arise to maintain cleanliness.
- Carry out scheduled daily cleaning tasks.
- Clean processing equipment and production lines to required standards. This is measured through sample testing.
- Deep cleaning of production areas in line with schedule.
- Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed.
- Make sure that all work complies with current Company procedures for Health & Safety and Hygiene.
- Ensure all cleaning and personal protective equipment are always fully functional.
- Work to meet deadlines, and ensuring duties are carried out diligently.
- Report any incidents or environmental concerns.
