This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in hotel reservations or front office who wishes to develop deeper expertise in revenue management and commercial strategy, without direct operational responsibility for the reservations team.

- Assist in producing accurate forecasts for rooms, spa, and events revenue based on market conditions and historical data.
- Conduct competitor analysis using benchmarking tools (e.g., STR, OTA Insight) to inform rate positioning and pricing decisions.
- Inventory & Distribution Management
- Maintain rate and inventory accuracy across PMS, channel manager, and online distribution platforms (OTAs, direct web, GDS).
- Monitor rate parity and availability across all online channels.
- Recommend and implement tactical restrictions (LOS, CTA, MLOS) to optimise demand periods and minimise displacement.
- Data, Reporting & Forecasting
- Prepare daily pickup, segmentation, and channel mix reports for management meetings.
- Support month‑end revenue reporting, budget, and reforecast cycles.
- Evaluate the performance of promotional campaigns and rate codes to ensure return on investment.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Events teams to align pricing, promotions, and packages with demand periods.
- Provide insights on booking trends, conversion rates, and revenue potential to influence sales strategies.
- Communicate rate strategy updates to the rest of the business to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to projects improving profitability and yield efficiency, such as channel mix optimisation or direct booking strategy.
- Support the rollout and training of revenue tools and systems.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance forecasting and reporting accuracy.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel revenue, reservations, or front‑office roles within a quality 4‑star or resort environment.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
- Competent in hotel systems such as Opera PMS, Agilysys PMS, RMS (e.g., IDeaS, Duetto), Excel, and distribution tools.
