We are seeking a Consultant in Geriatric Medicine, Acute medicine or General practice to join our Virtual Ward/ Hospital at Home and provide clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team caring for patients in a virtual ward setting. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the medical care of patients, supervising other medical staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered.
We are open to applications from candidates at all stages in exploring this sub-specialty including those for whom this would be a first post. We are looking for a collaborative colleague with a strong grounding in core community medicine who is keen to develop an interest in the virtual ward in a supportive environment.
The post holder will work within the Adult Community Services Department at Whittington Health. The primary duty of the post will be to provide senior clinical input to the Virtual Ward, Hospital at Home service. This is an exciting opportunity to engage and provide senior clinical input into a dynamic and expanding service.
