The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of chilled meals and catering provisions to wards as required.
- Regeneration of designated patient meals at ward level and within the Delivered Meal Service preparation kitchen.
- Facilitating patient meal call-backs and delivery to appropriate wards.
- Reporting equipment failure or concerns relating to defective equipment to the Catering Service Manager and Estates maintenance helpdesk.
- Working as a team member facilitating service provision cross cover as appropriate.
- To comply with relevant Food Safety Acts, Regulations, and departmental policies.
- To assist the department in achieving the delivery of a quality service to all service users.
- To assist patients to select their chosen meals on a daily basis and input using available ordering system.
- Compliance with current Food Safety Acts and Regulations.
- Compliance with set quality, quantity and food waste control measures.
- To comply with the department's Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
- The apportionment and delivery of chilled/frozen meals to wards.
- To carry out daily cleaning duties in accordance with the department's cleaning schedule.
- To achieve as a minimum the Food Safety Level 2 certificate.
- To ensure all service users are treated with the highest regard to customer care.
- To work in a safe and hygienic manner, ensuring the highest standard of food safety.
- To maintain the highest standard of personal and professional presentation.
- To undertake on/off the job training as required.
- To comply with trust policies and procedures.
- To take part in the trust appraisal process.
