Whittington Health delivers District Nursing Services across the boroughs of Islington and Haringey. District and Community nurses visit people who are housebound of all ages 18+ in their own homes or residential homes, enabling them to self-manage where possible and implementing appropriate treatments and care pathways. We are looking for a talented district nurse with a specialist practitioner qualification to join our innovative District Nursing Service. Our service operates on a 24 hour basis; we have opportunities in our day and evening teams as well as flexible and part time working to fit in with your work/life balance.
You will be an excellent communicator and team player with the drive and determination in case management and leading the delivery of high quality nursing care for your team. The successful candidate will also have the exciting opportunity to lead, facilitate and participate in the development of transformational programmes that support the development of new ways of working and new pathways within the integrated care organisation.
We will offer you the chance to develop your skills in physical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, nurse prescribing, leadership and management as well as ongoing training, support, clinical supervision and a clear career pathway.
