RN Nurse Supervisor – Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital, Haverhill, MA
2nd shift | Full-Time (40 hrs/week) or Part-Time (24 hrs/week)

Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital in Haverhill is seeking experienced and confident RN Nurse Supervisors to help lead our patient care team on evening and overnight shifts. This leadership role blends hands-on patient care with supervisory responsibility, ensuring that our clinical teams deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care. You’ll be supported by a clinical leadership team that values your input, respects your experience, and empowers you to make a difference.
We offer both full-time and part-time options, with weekend rotations built into the schedule. $5,000 Sign-On Bonus • Pay: $43-50/hour
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and support nursing staff during your shift, ensuring high standards of care and strong teamwork
- Oversee patient care plans and clinical execution on the floor, maintaining compliance with hospital policies and nursing protocols
- Act as the on-site clinical leader in the absence of department heads during your shift
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Clinical Services to manage staffing, patient flow, and care priorities
- Ensure a safe, well-stocked, and responsive clinical environment
- Provide mentorship and guidance to nurses and assist with performance feedback
- Work with Cardiology, Neurology, Telemetry, Critical Care & Wound Care
What We’re Looking For:
- A current Massachusetts RN license
- BSN preferred, but not required
- 3–5 years of experience in rehabilitation, geriatric, or hospital nursing
- Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience is a major plus
- ACLS and BLS certifications (BLS for adult, child, and infant required)
- Knowledge of patient development across the lifespan—from adolescents to older adults
- A calm, capable demeanor in high-pressure clinical situations
