Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital – Bradford
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Full Time
Hours: 2pm -10:30 pm
Essential Duties:
– Provide direct patient care in collaboration with medical staff; performs History and Physicals for new admissions
– Interprets and evaluates clinical/diagnostic findings and communicates to the physician and other health professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plan.
– Makes regular reassessment rounds to identify and assess patient\’s clinical problems
– Performs other duties within guidelines and instructions of physician
– Provides leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of practice
– May take part in hospital committees, and development programs
– Other duties as required
Required:
– Current RN license in Massachusetts
– MSN or Graduate of accredited NNP or PA program
– 3-5 years experience in geriatric/adolescent rehabilitation, medical surgical nursing and other hospital care
– Certification Rehabilitation Nursing and ACLS certification highly desirable.
