Engineering Team Lead

Operating through a number of market-leading brands, we design, manufacture, and install storage solutions for commercial and industrial environments across the UK and Europe.
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Engineering Team Lead to join our dynamic maintenance team at our Milton Keynes site.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running, reliability and performance of our plant operations.

- Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Overtime available
The Role
As Engineering Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities while providing hands-on support when needed.
You’ll lead a team of engineers, coordinate repairs, and ensure equipment downtime is minimised.
Key duties include
- Leading, coaching, and supporting a team of maintenance engineers
- Organising daily workloads and planned maintenance schedules
- Responding to breakdowns and ensuring quick, effective repairs
- Improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime (MTTR & MTBF)
- Managing spare parts, suppliers, and contractor activity
- Supporting continuous improvement and operational performance
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance
- What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work hands-on with machinery and plant equipment
- Support the team proactively
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
- Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND desirable)
