Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but may not be restricted to:
- Developing and implementing production plans to meet customer demand while optimising resource utilisation
- Collaborating with project teams, workshop, and supply chain to plan production requirements
- Creating and maintaining production schedules, considering lead times, production capacities, and resource constraints
- Working closely with workshop teams to understand capacity and resource availability
- Monitoring production progress and adjusting schedules as needed
- Communicating production schedules and changes to relevant teams and stakeholders
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance production efficiency
Organisational Location
Integrated within the Operations team and follows the existing procedures and processes of the Operations department.

- Interact directly with other departments in the Whittaker offices and workshop
Qualifications
- 3+ years of demonstrable experience in production planning and scheduling
- Solid understanding of production processes
- Proficiency in using production planning software and ERP systems
- Knowledge of production forecasting, capacity planning, and production cost control
- Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
