Whittaker Engineering are looking to recruit a full time Fabrication Project Engineer for our busy engineering department. This role would be based full time at our Stonehaven offices, working within the project engineering team to bid on small and/or large-scale fabrications, pipework and pressure vessel projects for the energy industry.

Duties include but may not be restricted to:

  • Construct cost, time, and resource estimates and provide quotations to clients
  • Directly oversee the timely delivery of manufacturing projects
  • Liaise with clients to understand and interpret specifications and requirements
  • Plan, coordinate, monitor, and assist all parties to meet project milestones, budget, and quality standards
  • Adherence to Company QA System
  • Work in a methodical, structured, and safe manner
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and company guidelines

Applicants must have previous estimating and/or project engineering experience in a relatable environment. A strong background in the fabrication trade would be advantageous. Applicants must be familiar with weld procedures and specification requirements and with working to ISO Accreditations, and must have proficiency in Microsoft Office. Offshore experience would also be of benefit but not essential.

Excellent working conditions, remuneration package and benefits are available. All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK, and available to commute daily to our facility in Stonehaven.
