The Company are looking to recruit a time-served Fabrication Pipefitter/Surveyor, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience for work based at our modern facility in Stonehaven, with excellent opportunities also available for overseas, offshore and site work.
The applicant must be skilled in working with various pipe materials, ferrous and non-ferrous. Familiarity with Automet dimensional control software would be advantageous; Automet training can be provided.
The Fabrication Pipefitter/Surveyor would be responsible for the preparation of materials to be used in pipefitting processes, duties of which include, but may not be restricted to:
- Ability to interpret isometric engineering drawings
- Liaise with departmental chargehands to progress jobs through the facility
- Carry out material checks prior to project commencement
- Preparation of pipework materials
- Tack welding of fit-ups in various materials
- Ensure correct geometry of components utilising Automet as/when required
- Ensure Quality Assurance system is maintained by diligent upkeep of materials traceability
Excellent working conditions, remuneration package and benefits are available. Hourly rate depends on experience and can be negotiated, based on a 39-hour working week 7am – 3.30pm (2.30pm Fri) with regular overtime available.
All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK, and be capable of commuting daily to our Stonehaven facility.
