Front of House Food Runner

The Lobster Shack in Whitstable is a busy beachfront bar and restaurant, open 7 days a week, serving food daily from 11am until 9pm.

We are seeking additional staff to join our team on either a full time or part time basis.

Experience of working in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, friendly and confident.

Duties to include but not limited to;

• Greeting customers and explaining the ordering process

• Taking food and drink to tables

• Clearing tables and interacting with customers

• Assisting customers when required and answering questions

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a restaurant environment
• Strong serving and hospitality skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Experience in food preparation and catering services
• Barista experience is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
