At the heart of subjectleadership is the provision of professional leadership to secure high qualityteaching and learning, effective use of resources, improving standards ofachievement for all students, and the promotion of students' personaldevelopment and well-being. A Key Stage Co-ordinator must provide leadershipand direction for the subject and ensure that it is managed and organised tomeet school and subject aims and objectives.
A Key StageCo-ordinator plays a key role in supporting, guiding and motivating teachers ofthe subject. A Key Stage Co-ordinator evaluate the effectiveness of teachingand learning, the subject curriculum and progress towards targets for studentsand staff in order to inform future priorities for the subject. The policy andpractice of monitoring within a department provides the information forevaluation and action. A Key StageCo-ordinator identifies needs in their own subject and recognises that theseneeds must be considered in relation to the overall needs of the school. It is also important that a Key StageCo-ordinator has an understanding of how their subject contributes to schoolpriorities and to the overall education and achievement of all students.
Throughout their work,a Key Stage Co-ordinator ensures that practices improve the quality ofeducation provided, meet the needs and aspirations of all students and help tocontinue to raise standards of achievement in the school.

- 61% of all students achieved 9-5 including English and Maths
- 92% achieving EBacc
- 26% of A Level grades resulted in an A or A* grade and 100% of Health & Social Care students achieved D*- D enabling many students to secure a place into their first-choice universities and degree apprenticeships.
