Are you passionate about teaching and leading Geography in an innovative and forward-thinking school? We are looking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Head of Department in our well-established team. Someone with a real passion for their subject who will lead, develop and manage the effectivedelivery of an outstanding curriculum which enables all students to reach their potential.
The successful candidate will:
- Beable to lead, manage, develop and be accountable for the department andcurriculum at Key Stages 3, 4, & 5 in Geography
- Beaccountable within the department for; the strategicdirection and development of the subject, teaching and learning, leading andmanaging staff, pupil progress and standards of achievement and the efficientand effective deployment of staff and resources
- Delivereffective and high-quality learning experiences to all of our students with acollaborative approach to teaching and learning
- Be a well-qualified teacher with excellentsubject knowledge and the ability to teach well across the 11-19 age range.
- Be influentialand committed to getting the best outcomes for the students in our school
- Be committed toEquality, Diversity and Inclusion, the principles and practice of equalopportunities and the safeguardingall young people
