Position Overview

The Finance Officer Assistant supports the Finance team by ensuring the accurate and timely recording and processing of financial transactions, managing lettings and the asset register, and maintaining compliance with financial systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Finance Officer with complete, accurate and timely recording and processing of financial transactions/orders, ensuring clarity, accuracy and best value.
  • Organise the school's lettings/hirers.
  • Maintain the school's asset register.
  • Use financial systems and procedures (knowledge desirable but not essential).
  • Show strong numeracy, literacy and attention to detail with a good level of education.
  • Demonstrate organisational skills and be a positive, collaborative team player.
