On-site at Meadowhall, Sheffield | Permanent, full-time. Salary: £42,000-£50,000 depending on experience. Employed by Whitewall, embedded full-time within Meadowhall. You will be employed by Whitewall (payroll) but work exclusively as the on-site Digital Marketing Manager for Meadowhall, the leading shopping and leisure destination in Sheffield. This is not an agency role and does not involve working on other Whitewall clients. You will work 100% on Meadowhall, alongside the centre team.

About The Role

This exciting new role shapes and leads Meadowhall’s digital strategy, channels and performance. The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for driving commercially focused activity across all digital touchpoints, ensuring the online customer journey is best-in-class and contributes directly to footfall, retailer success and centre-wide commercial outcomes. You’ll bring innovation, commercial thinking and a proactive attitude. This is a wide-ranging role with a mixture of strategy and day-to-day delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all digital activity for Meadowhall, ensuring alignment to commercial goals and customer needs
  • Manage the end-to-end digital journey across website, search, CRM, paid media and emerging channels
  • Lead paid digital media activity with agency partners, delivering measurable impact
  • Manage CRM activity including segmentation, email campaigns and automation
  • Develop and deliver a digital roadmap across web, search, AI integration and wider digital improvements
  • Manage day-to-day website content and performance
  • Bring forward new ideas, innovations and opportunities to strengthen Meadowhall’s digital presence
  • Lead digital projects from concept to delivery
  • Scrutinise digital performance, moving beyond vanity metrics to identify drivers of commercial impact
  • Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Produce high-quality digital reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage external suppliers and ensure best-in-class delivery
  • Manage digital budgets, purchase orders and spend tracking
  • Work closely with the wider centre team, supporting digital integration across the organisation
  • Support departmental events and activations

What You’ll Bring

  • 5-10 years experience in a fast-paced digital marketing environment within retail, leisure, hospitality or consumer-facing sectors
  • Experience leading digital strategy and delivering multi-channel campaigns
  • A highly creative thinker who is confident challenging ideas and exploring innovation
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability
  • A proactive mindset and strong awareness of emerging digital trends
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire
