In 2026, Whitewall Marketing enters an exciting new chapter as an employee‑owned agency. This role offers the opportunity to join a well‑established, independent marketing agency at a moment of real change where every team member has a stake in our shared success. If you’re a confident and experienced Digital Account Executive who values collaboration, takes pride in their work, and is motivated by contributing to something built for the long term, this could be the role for you.
About Whitewall: Founded in 2005, employee‑owned Whitewall is guided by a simple principle—when our people thrive, the business thrives. Ownership at Whitewall means having a voice, taking responsibility, and being trusted to do your best work for our clients and for each other. You’ll be part of a close‑knit team where ideas are shared, success is collective, and development is taken seriously.
The Role: This is a hands‑on digital role with real responsibility. You’ll manage your own client accounts, plan and manage digital marketing campaigns that meet our clients’ business objectives, and work across a wide mix of sectors and digital channels. Agency life brings variety and pace, and you’ll be supported by experienced colleagues, specialist partners and a culture that values learning through doing. You’ll enjoy autonomy but never work in isolation – as an employee‑owned business, we succeed together, and that mindset runs through everything we do.
What you’ll do:
- Plan, deliver and optimise multi‑channel digital marketing activity (SEO, PPC, social media, email, content) aligned to client KPIs
- Research, write and manage content for websites, email marketing and social platforms
- Act as the day‑to‑day point of contact for clients, building trusted, long‑term relationships
- Take ownership of client accounts, identifying opportunities to grow and improve activity
- Manage budgets and evaluate campaign performance, including ROI and KPI reporting
- Monitor performance across GA4, Meta, email and other organic and paid media platforms, using insight to inform strategy
- Collaborate with our in‑house design team and specialist partners to deliver high‑quality creative solutions
- Contribute to marketing plans, research and wider strategic thinking
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brief and to a consistently high standard
- Keep client admin, reporting and documentation accurate and up to date
- Support Account Directors with business development and lead activity when required
About you: You’ll have at least two years’ experience in a digital marketing role, be degree‑qualified (or equivalent), and confident working directly with clients. You’ll bring working knowledge of:
- SEO, PPC, paid social media and email marketing
- Content management
- Working knowledge of website fundamentals, including basic HTML/CSS, setting up redirects and building landing pages using WordPress and/or Umbraco
You’ll enjoy variety, take pride in doing things properly, and be open to UK travel as projects require.
What we offer:
- Employee ownership – a real stake in the future of the business which includes a bonus scheme
- Hybrid working: home‑based Mondays and Fridays, office‑based Tuesday to Thursday in our office in Glasgow city centre
- Flexible working within core hours
- Annual training and development budget
- Discretionary bonus scheme
- A supportive culture with genuine commitment to progression and long‑term careers
If you’re excited by the idea of contributing to an employee‑owned agency where your work, ideas and development truly matter, we’d love to hear from you. Please email your CV to recruitment@whitewallmarketing.co.uk with a short note explaining why you’re the right fit for the role by 11 January 2026.
