What You'll Do
- Support and encourage young people to reach their full potential.
- Create a warm, safe and tidy home environment that promotes wellbeing.
- Build trust whilst maintaining professional boundaries.
- Empower young people to develop skills such as cooking, travel, and self-care.
- Support care planning - contribute to risk assessments, positive behaviour plans, and individual goals.
- Keep accurate, reflective records and complete effective shift handovers.
- Administer medication, manage petty cash responsibly and ensure safety checks are completed.
- Drive company vehicles to transport young people to school, appointments, and activities.
- Work collaboratively with your team, attend meetings and training, and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
