We are currently working with a n independant Facilities Management consultancy to recruit a Senior Bid Manager who will aim to pursue and successfully convert opportunities in the public sector. The role will be home based and so location is fully flexible, with travel as and when required. The business has secured a number of high-profile contract wins recently, and so with that are in need of further expansion and have a great opportunity for a strong Bid Manager/Junior Bid Director to join the business and work alongside the existing Business Development Director, focussing on predominantly public sector TFM bids. As the business is in its relative infancy, it offers a great opportunity to move up the ranks to Director level fairly swiftly Key responsibilities: * Capture and strategy: ensure a complete understanding of opportunities, including stakeholders/ decision-makers, hot buttons, competitors and context, to enable effective opportunity capture and create a winning strategy * Relationships: Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients to convert prospects into opportunities * Quality: Proactively monitor and maintain high levels of quality and accuracy within bids and tenders * Governance and Approval: Lead internal governance processes at required levels * Stay abreast of industry/market trends and updates and competitors /competitor activity in our markets/sector * Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations Requirements: * A track record of growing business and winning bids for the public sector. * Commercially focused, confident, self- driven and inventive, with exceptional attention to detail * Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to listen and to communicate complex ideas confidently. * Time management and ability to meet deadlines, and ability to work under pressure
