Digital Delivery Manager (PMO) - Whiteshield

We are seeking an experienced and driven Digital Delivery Manager to join Whiteshield to become an integral part of our delivery organization. This role will be instrumental in establishing governance frameworks and driving excellence across our complex digital and policy initiatives. This Digital Delivery Manager should have very strong experience in project and program management, ideally with deep expertise in Agile methodologies and digital product delivery to complement our technical and policy teams. This is a role with a lot of responsibility and the potential to make a true impact - on our delivery capability, within the business, and on government across the globe.

What You'll Do:

• End‑to‑End Project Leadership: Lead end‑to‑end planning, execution, and closure of complex digital and policy projects from inception through delivery.
• PMO Governance: Establish and enforce PMO governance, delivery standards, and reporting frameworks across all projects to ensure consistency and quality.
• Cross‑Functional Coordination: Coordinate and drive cross‑functional delivery teams including product, data science, data engineering, AI and BI development to achieve project objectives.
• Stakeholder Interface: Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, executive leadership, and technical teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Product Delivery Oversight: Govern the design, development, validation, and deployment of digital products to ensure they meet quality standards and business requirements.
• Analytics & Reporting: Ensure effective visualization and consumption of insights through Live Jira dashboards and related analytics platforms for real‑time project visibility.
• Toolset Management: Manage project delivery using Jira, Confluence and Azure‑based toolsets, ensuring transparency, traceability, and control across all initiatives.
• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to keep projects on track.
• Scope & Schedule Control: Monitor and control scope, schedule, and benefits realization across concurrent initiatives to ensure successful outcomes.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure quality and consistency of deliverables through formal reviews and adherence to Whiteshield standards.
• Executive Reporting: Provide clear, concise, and regular status reporting to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
• Resource Optimization: Optimize resource planning, capacity management, and prioritization across multiple workstreams to maximize efficiency.

Requirements:

• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Multiple years of experience in project/program management and PMO leadership, preferably in a dynamic, high‑growth and highly innovative environment.
• Proven successful experience in delivering complex digital products and technology initiatives from scratch.
• Proficiency with relevant tooling (such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and analytics platforms).
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI‑ACP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies with experience adapting frameworks to organizational needs.
• Experience with data‑driven decision making and building dashboards/reporting frameworks for executive visibility.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and resilience to meet deadlines and manage stressful situations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and experience with stakeholder management at all levels.
