- Responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts within reporting deadlines
- Responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations within reporting deadlines
- Variance analysis versus budget and investigate/explain variances
- Preparation of KPI reports on a weekly and monthly basis
- Assist with the preparation of monthly projections and annual budgets
- Responsibility for compliance (VAT & statutory returns)
- Provide holiday cover for AR and AP as required
- Assist development & implementation of Management Information Systems and financial IT systems
- Build good working relationships with others throughout the business and Group
The Person:
- Part Qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent, Qualified Accounting Technician (IATI) or QBE accountant
- Intermediate to advanced Excel ability; proficient in Word and MS Outlook
- Excellent administration skills, organised and able to prioritise workload
- Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Work effectively within a small team
- Be able to interact and communicate with staff at all levels including senior management in a professional manner
Preference will be given to candidates with
- Experience of using an ERP system
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience in analysing production variances
