This expanding Construction Contractor delivers a range of construction projects within the Commercial Office, NHS, Light Industrial and Manufacturing sectors. To support the Senior Management team they are looking to recruit an experienced Office Manager who can take ownership of a range of back office functions including IT Support, HR and general Project Administrative Support.

  • Deal with incoming calls from a range of clients, defining customer enquiries, taking messages and prioritising tasks.
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to both company and industry policies.
  • Manage agendas, travel arrangements, appointments etc for the Directors.
  • Manage and prioritise correspondence (e-mails, letters, packages etc.).
  • Create and update records and databases with project related data and progress.
  • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals for the Director as required.
  • Produce and document letters and other correspondence.
  • Document Control.
  • Maintain established ISO9001, ISO14001 processes.
  • Update social media with news of company projects, business successes, conferences and other business-related activities.

This is a varied and diverse business support role where the successful candidate will be undertaking a varied range of duties in relation to the company’s operations and projects.

To be successful the candidate must have/be all the following:

  • Experience of working in an Office Management/Senior Administrator role within an Engineering or Construction environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint software.
  • Able to demonstrate experience of setting up and maintaining business processes.
  • Able to demonstrate leading on administrative tasks and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Proactive approach.
  • Numerate.
  • Team Player.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Package available: £30,000 - £38,000 DOE, Pension, 25 Days annual leave, Annual Bonus, Medical.
