This privately owned company, with a turnover circa £7 million and growing, provides an outstanding range of quality spill control products. Their clients include some well-known brands across the Manufacturing, Construction, Engineering, Automotive, Defence, Food, Pharmaceutical & Aerospace sectors.
The solutions are typically sold into a range of department heads within a target client including Sustainability Managers, Engineering Directors, Head of Facilities, Head of Production, Head of Manufacturing, Head of HSQE and Environmental Managers. The company has ambitious growth plans, and as part of that growth strategy, they are looking to enhance their senior leadership team with a National Sales Manager.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be managing an established team of 4 Regional Business Development Managers across England, whilst also developing an established sales territory in the Midlands (80% Account Management & 20% New Business). The company prides itself on its quality of service and the fact that they can respond quickly to the evolving demands of their client base.
The Sales Manager will be supported by a proactive Marketing department and a Technical Sales Support team who will be there to provide technical specifications and quotations. Based from home and in the field, the Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving a personal & team revenue target whilst providing guidance and leadership to the other BDMs.
They will be adept at managing sales cycles from initial contact to close. The candidate will have strong leadership qualities, outstanding account development skills and will enjoy managing and mentoring a sales team. This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious company that has a robust 5-year business plan in place to increase sales revenues and grow the company.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a basic salary of between £65k-£75k, a company car, Pension, OTE of an additional £40k (Uncapped) and 23 days annual leave + BH. They will also benefit from a great medium-term career opportunity to progress within a growing organisation.
