We’re looking for an experienced M&E QS to join an International M&E Contractor, specialising in Infrastructure Projects in the Rail, Highways, Water & Energy sectors. You will initially be based on the HS2 Rail Project, on a site near Acton London.

Your remit is to ensure M&E Project Packages are running in accordance with the budgeted forecast, and to maximise profit through robust cost control and the optimisation of variations to Project Works. The role may require you to work on a singular major M&E Package or a number of smaller M&E packages of work across various sites.

Successful candidates will have worked as a Quantity Surveyor on large UK Based M&E Construction or Refurbishment Projects and will have a working understanding of valuation techniques of construction works including elemental cost analysis of items such as labour, materials, plant, subcontract, and general expenses. NEC and JCT Contract experience would also be desired.

The package available is £70k-£85k basic, travel expenses (to locations outside of your contracted location), Perkbox (giving you 24/7 access to perks, benefits, discounts and wellbeing tools), 3 x Life Assurance, BUPA Private Medical, Pension (4% ER and 5% EE), 25 DH + B.
