A well-established and growing SME based in the Barbican is seeking an organised and proactive Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team.

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting duties and play an important role in the smooth running of the finance function across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Credit Control.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day finance operations and support the Finance Manager in the smooth running of the finance function.
  • Support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Credit Control activities.
  • Contribute to accurate and timely reporting and bookkeeping tasks.

Requirements

  • You must have previous experience in a finance administration role.
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Quick Books experience desirable).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
