We’re looking for a Fire Systems Design Engineer to lead on the design and coordination of Fire Suppression, Hydrant, and Dry/Wet Riser Services on medium to large-scale projects. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and smooth delivery, working closely with project teams and stakeholders.
🔑 What you’ll do
- Lead fire suppression system designs in line with BS9990, BS EN 12845 and other standards
- Oversee and coordinate designs prepared by MEP consultants and contractors
- Develop and manage Fire Alarm Cause & Effects documents
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, accreditation bodies, and project stakeholders
- Support tendering, procurement, and delivery while championing innovation and value engineering
🎯 What we’re looking for
- Strong knowledge of fire system design & standards
- Hands-on experience with active and passive fire safety systems
- CAD/BIM expertise for Fire Systems design
- Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
- LPCB Basic Sprinkler Design Competency + membership of a relevant professional body
