Electrical Project Engineer – Road Tunnel Project (Plymouth)
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join an International M&E Contractor, specialising in Infrastructure Projects in the Rail, Highways, Water & Energy sectors. You will be based on a new Road Tunnel Project near Plymouth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager and ensure M&E & Communications Project Packages are delivered as per the project plan.
- Manage specialist contractors and directly employed engineering teams.
- Prepare RAMS, undertake resource and material planning, update project programmes, record variations to contract, and manage site‑based teams.
- Work with client representatives and maintain outstanding client management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services qualification.
- Proven experience managing the delivery of packages of work within an infrastructure environment (Rail, Highways, Utilities, Water, Industrial).
- Strong client and team management experience combined with strong commercial acumen.
- Experience in Highways, Rail, Utilities, Dockyard or Industrial environments.
Package & Benefits
Basic salary up to £65k, travel expenses for locations outside your contracted location, car allowance, Perkbox access, 3 × Life Assurance, BUPA Private Medical, Pension (4% Employer, 5% Employee), 25 days Holiday + Bank Holidays.
