This specialist Principal contractor delivers High-End Construction and Refurbishment projects for the Motorsport, Commercial Office and Healthcare Sectors. Due to expansion, the company requires a Design Manager with at least 3 years' Design Management experience gained from within a Principal or Tier 1 Contractor.
Office and Site based, as the Design Manager you will play a pivotal role in the design and construction processes. Working in conjunction with the Project Management team, you will be responsible for managing design and engineering across various projects. Your core role will be to ensure that the project team, design consultants, and construction partners develop technically and economically proficient engineering solutions.
This involves implementing design quality procedures that uphold a right-first-time approach whilst identifying opportunities to enhance affordability and value throughout the design process. This is a truly unique opportunity to work with some high profile clients, within the world of Formula One, on some innovative and hi-tech construction projects.
The successful candidate will have:
