About the job
Using a variety of materials and tools, you will be skilled at assembling our wooden components, ensuring a quality fixed frame structure, ready for pre-upholstery.
Responsibilities:
- The assembly of wooden components into frames ready for pre-upholstery, according to the provided instructions and specification.
- Thorough inspection of the wooden components for any defects, ensuring the finished frame meets the required quality standards.
- Using equipment such as staple guns and a variety of pneumatic and hand-held woodwork hand tools.
- Work to production targets while maintaining high standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Support colleagues and work effectively as part of a team.
- Adhere to Company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety.
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good practical and manual skills.
- Ability to use basic hand tools or willingness to be trained.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, woodworking, assembly, or furniture production is desirable.
